Carrying out a simple but effective set of preventative maintenance instructions on a compressed air dryer, ensures the continued performance of the unit. Also guaranteeing downstream air continues to meet the required quality level.

It is recommended that CDAS, OFAS and FBP compressed air drying systems undergo a regular service every 12 months. This service involves replacement of the inlet / outlet filter elements, exhaust silencer and float drains, as well as replacement and calibration of the dewpoint sensor. For OFAS and FBP models the carbon cartridges are also replaced.

An extended 'full' service is recommended at 60 months, where in addition to the actions carried out during the 12 month service the desiccant cartridges are replaced, along with the dryer's inlet / exhaust / control valves and outlet check valve. For the 60 month service both 12 and 60 month service kits are required.
